Bahn Suraburi Girls’ Home

For the past 25 years “The Family” has been providing supplies and activities for orphaned and disadvantaged girls at the Phrabuttabaht Girl’s Home in Saraburi. Over the years, the number of girls has grown from 60 to over 210 ranging from 6 years to 18 years. These girls live in the home and go out to local schools every day.

Our Goal:

We want to improve the quality of life for these girls by providing some basic material needs, and in some cases larger needs such as housing and roofing. When we can, we have also provided inspirational activities and outings for the girls.

Through the years, we have supplied VCD/DVD, JBL speakers, and mixer, TV, many computers, flat screens and laser printers. This enables them, to do research for their homework after school, and also in school breaks, and on the week-ends provides a recreational environment for them.

We have supplied industrial washing machines, sewing machines, school supplies, clothing, watches, food items, flour for baking, notebooks, etc,

Also through the years we have helped in some bigger projects, such as the building of the new awning, then professional sound equipment for their assembles also redoing and refurnituring a small house, for 5 older girls, (these girls rotate) who can learn to be self-sufficient in taking care of themselves and take care of a home.

In the school breaks, the home provides classes on cooking, sewing, art projects, mountain bike riding and sports.

When we can, we have also provided inspirational activities in the form of English day camps, art projects, games, and fun outing for the girls.
